These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of y10tax.com (the "Site"), the website of Y10 Tax Solutions, operated by Yehuda Tenenbaum, EA ("Y10," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Informational purpose; no advice or client relationship
The Site provides general information about our tax preparation, bookkeeping, planning, and advisory services. Nothing on the Site is tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and your use of the Site does not create a client, advisory, or professional relationship. A professional relationship begins only when we both sign a separate written engagement agreement.
2. No reliance
Tax laws change often and every situation is different. Do not act, or refrain from acting, based on general information on the Site without consulting us about your specific circumstances.
3. Scheduling, services, and payments
The Site links to third-party tools for booking consultations and making payments. Appointments, fees, and the scope of any services are subject to confirmation and to the terms of your engagement agreement. Payments are handled by third-party processors under their own terms; we do not store your full payment card details.
4. Client portal
Access to our secure client portal is provided through a third-party platform and is subject to that platform's terms and to your engagement agreement. Please use the portal, not the public website, to share sensitive documents.
5. Referral program
Any referral rewards are subject to the terms described on our referral page and may be changed or ended at any time.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, design, and the Y10 branding are owned by Y10 Tax Solutions or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
7. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and relies on third-party services (for example, scheduling, payments, the client portal, email, and hosting). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Y10 Tax Solutions and Yehuda Tenenbaum will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site.
10. Changes
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
