Privacy Policy
Effective August 12, 2026
Y10 Tax Solutions (Yehuda Tenenbaum, EA) ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information collected through y10tax.com (the "Site"). Because we are a tax professional, how we handle your tax information is also governed by strict federal law and by the separate privacy notice we provide to clients (see Section 4).
1. Please don't send sensitive information through the website
The public website is for general contact and scheduling. Please do not email or submit Social Security numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive information through the Site. To share documents securely, use our client portal or another secure method we provide.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: what you enter in our forms (such as the "Get started" form or the newsletter sign-up), including your name, email, phone, and the details you choose to share about your situation.
- Automatic technical data: like most websites, our hosting and any analytics may log standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and operation.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, your name and email are processed by our email provider (Mailchimp).
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation.
- To provide the services you request and communicate with you about them.
- To send the newsletter, if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to comply with law.
4. Your tax information is protected by law
As a tax professional, we are bound by strict rules on the confidentiality of tax return information, including Internal Revenue Code Section 7216. We do not use or disclose your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return, except with your specific written consent or as otherwise permitted by law. We also maintain safeguards to protect nonpublic personal information consistent with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its Safeguards Rule. Clients receive our privacy practices as part of the engagement.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf, such as form processing, email (Mailchimp), scheduling and payment tools, website hosting, and the client portal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and clients.
6. Cookies and analytics
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and, where used, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser and is not sent to us.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, tax, and professional recordkeeping requirements, then dispose of it securely.
8. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete website inquiry information, contact us.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you to use the client portal for sensitive documents.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version.

This is a general starting template for the website, not legal advice, and it is separate from the client privacy notice you provide under federal law. A tax practice has specific obligations (IRC §7216, the GLBA Safeguards Rule and a written information security plan, and applicable state laws). Please review and adapt this with your compliance advisor or counsel, and keep it consistent with your client privacy notice.
